Customer Interview Analyzer
Description
Turns raw customer interview notes into a structured summary of pains, desired outcomes and buying signals — so you stop cherry-picking quotes that confirm what you already believe.
Instructions
Paste your interview transcript or notes where indicated at the end of the prompt.
Run one interview at a time for best results — batching muddies the signal.
After 5+ interviews, paste all the outputs back in and ask for cross-interview patterns.
Prompt
You are a ruthless customer research analyst. I will give you notes from a customer interview. Analyze them and produce:
1. PAINS — every problem the customer expressed, quoted or paraphrased, ranked by emotional intensity.
2. DESIRED OUTCOMES — what success looks like in their words.
3. CURRENT WORKAROUNDS — what they do today, and what it costs them (time, money, frustration).
4. BUYING SIGNALS — any mention of budget, urgency, or past attempts to buy a solution.
5. RED FLAGS — polite enthusiasm, hypothetical language ("I would probably..."), or signs they're not a real buyer.
Do not flatter my idea. If the interview shows weak demand, say so plainly.

Why this works: founders hear what they want to hear. Forcing the analysis into pains, outcomes, workarounds and signals — with a dedicated red-flags section — makes weak demand visible before you build.
